The "Schaarbeekse" cherry variety owes its name to the city of "Schaarbeek" in the Brussels-Capital Region. Today, Schaarbeekse cherry harvests are very limited, but Frank Boon managed to obtain enough to create this limited edition Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek with 250g/l of cherries. Slightly hazy ruby red color, very persistent pink head. Pronounced cherry aromas, with notes of wood and green apple. The cherry flavor returns on the palate with sweet notes and a slight hint of acidity.
